WE NEED YOU!
So what does a volunteer do at the Wyoming Brewers Festival presented by Cheyenne Motorsports? You will have the distinct pleasure of donating your time to an amazing event while raising money for the Historic Union Pacific Depot. Our volunteers are simply the best! There are many duties in which we need volunteers from pouring beer to taking tickets to filling ice.
WORK ONE NIGHT, ENJOY THE OTHER - You give us your time for one night of the festival - either Friday or Saturday, from 400pm till 1030pm - and we’ll give you some commemorative swag and free admission for you to enjoy the other night of the festival.
The Wyoming Brewers Festival cannot happen without its craft-brew-Historic-Depot-supporting volunteers!! When volunteering, please remember:
You MUST be TIPS trained to volunteer.
Once you are TIPS trained, you can utilize your training at many other events in the Cheyenne area.
You can attend FREE TIPS training provided by the Wyoming State Liquor Association on the first Wednesday of each month. Classes are held at the American Legion Post 6, 2001 E. Lincolnway, Cheyenne and run from 5p-9pm. No need to register…just show up on time and they’ll fit you in!
We will also provide a modified TIPS training at the end of the Volunteer Kick Off meeting
Plan to attend the required Volunteer Kick-Off meeting on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 5:30pm at the Cheyenne Police Department, 415 W 18th Street. This will include a modified TIPS training at the end of the kick off meeting for those who haven’t had a chance to take the training prior.
All volunteers must be at least 21 years of age
Due to supply chain issues, T-shirts need to be ordered months in advance. We base our ordering on the last several year’s and will try hard to accommodate your sizing needs, but unfortunately they cannot be guaranteed.
For the EVENT:
No more than 2 volunteers will be assigned per brewery
If you want to work with someone, please keep in mind it is a request and not guaranteed
Specific brewery assignments are only requests; assignments will always be made based on previous volunteer experience and brewery needs.
